Fay Margo

Fay joined Yellow Jersey following a 10 year career as a financial journalist, including work at the Financial Times Group and The Economist, where she reported on Private Equity. Fay was also the former editor of France unquote, Private Equity Europe and IR magazine. In 2010, Fay was hired to set up a news division at private equity-backed aviation consultancy Ascend Worldwide, which was later acquired by Reed Elsevier. Fay holds BA Joint Honours and MA degrees in French and Italian from the University of Leeds. After graduating, Fay worked as a radio broadcaster at Lyon 1ère in France.

Jon Hopkins

Jon has nearly 20 years’ experience as a financial journalist, primarily as a UK Stock Market Reporter. He was Markets Editor of AFX News for over 5 years, coordinating equity market coverage for this leading London-based newswire in the UK and on a pan-European basis, which had a healthy focus on smaller capitalisation stocks. After AFX’s takeover by Thomson Corp. in 2006, Jon expanded his Thomson Financial News team to cover M&A specialists and a more focused small cap offering. Thomson’s subsequent takeover of Reuters in 2008 meant the TFN team became submerged in the larger business; here Jon anchored the UK markets coverage.
