Yellow Jersey secures British gold explorer mandate

Leading financial & corporate business communications consultancy, Yellow Jersey PR, has today been retained as Public Relations adviser to Hummingbird Resources plc, following a competitive pitch.

Hummingbird, which is valued at £76m market cap and run by a British-led team headed by Daniel Betts, is active in Liberia, West Africa, and is currently the holder of the largest area of mineral exploration ground in the highly prospective Birimian geological region of eastern Liberia. The Birimian is the world's second largest gold producing region and the fastest growing resource region in terms of ounces.

The Company listed on AIM in December last year with a maiden resource of 812,000 koz gold defined at the Company's flagship Dugbe F project, raising USD$40m. Hummingbird is advised by Liberum Capital and Mirabaud Securities. Yellow Jersey PR's mandate is to advise on corporate and financial communications and liaise with the Business media in the UK.
